Job Description :

The open positions are for a busy/fast paced, well established primary care practice with locations in both Lancaster, CA and Ridgecrest, CA. We are seeking candidates that possess the objective and commitment to provide effective and efficient quality care to our patients and to be a long term member of our growing team. This Position offers competitive pay.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Must be able to manage needs of our patients with a focus on Internal Medicine by conducting histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing evaluations, making diagnoses, initiating consults and referrals, initiating treatment, health education, follow-up and consultation with physicians. Ensure timely completeness in documentation. All activities will be performed in collaboration with other team members under direct and indirect supervision of the head physician.

*Must be self-directed/motivated, have excellent documentation and communication skills as well as computer skills. Candidate must also posses strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.

*Experience using EMR

*Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) *Maintain regular attendance based on agreed-upon schedule *Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, and providers

QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS

*Graduate from an accredited PA program with a current California PA certification and DEA license or Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse Practitioner license AND certification as a Nurse Practitioner with the state of California

* Multiple years of experience is preferred but not required

* Managed care experience is preferred

*Spanish speaking is a a plus

COMPENSATION
