A small salon in Belle Meade is seeking an assistant to work alongside the owner to assist with blow dries, shampoos, color applications, etc. The owner is needing assistance with his fully-booked clientele to better serve them. You will learn and grow as a stylist and work toward getting your own chair. You will learn how to formulate color/color theory, cutting, blow drying, and business related to the salon. (Including booking clients, ordering supplies, etc.) This is a great opportunity for someone just finishing cosmetology school or someone who would like to strengthen their skills.

The stylist will have an opportunity to work more on the days that they are not assisting the owner.

You will be provided some tools to help build your tool kit as well. ( Brushes, curling irons, and blow dryer.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

• Hair Styling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Cosmetology License (Required)
