General Summary

Greenheck’s “Sales Reporting Analyst” helps enable data backed decision making. The team wants candidates who are interested in changing the way companies do business from the inside out. This role will report to the product manager and will provide actionable insights and visibility to business unit trends. The focus of this work will be organized into daily, weekly, and monthly reporting deliverables, and often require additional deep dives into certain product areas where engineering may have additional questions or need further insights. This team member will work closely in the areas of product planning and development, application support, and sales for the respective product family and its channels.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support internal engineering staff and management with detailed visibility into all aspects of business performance.
  • Leverage BI software (sales reporting software) to analyze data and interpret results to drive decisions.
  • Deliver valuable and timely reporting to all levels of the team.
  • Understand sales metric fluctuational impacts of the business.
  • Control intake forecast documentation and adjustments to help ensure efficient production planning.
  • Manage product discounts to maximize profitability of the organization.
  • Compile product health assessments to better understand marketplace viability and areas of opportunity.
  • Gather information for market studies.
  • Become familiar with the competitor's products and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage by working with engineering to develop scope for enhancements on existing products.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills, hands on experience, qualities and experiences required for job

  • Associate’s degree in economics, business, or related field required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred
  • Have professional experience; industry experience in sales, finance, or management consulting preferred.
  • An understanding of basic business, economics, and accounting principles is required.
  • Strong quantitative skills, highly analytical, and able to leverage raw unorganized data into actionable insights.
  • Expert level excel knowledge (understanding of VBA programing language required).
  • Have experience with remaining MS Office suite.
  • Know how to clean and link complicated data sets from various sources.
  • Strong problem solving skills and abilities
  • Clear communication style and able to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
