Job Description :

The Operations Director will be responsible for managing all internal fianancial functions and facility operations including; Production Leadership Personnel (Coordinators) and staff to implement daily activities to insure that all departmental production targets are met.

The Operations Director will monitor financials, investments, properties and State grants and reporting, handling disputes among team members and regularly working with the Safety Coordinator to assess safety standards in all production areas.

This position will work side by side with the CEO in developing new improvement ideas and pursuing new contracts for assembly and production work.

Salary Commensurate with work experience

Additional duties may include:

  • Key Accounting functions
  • Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
  • Evaluating resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
  • Identifying productivity goals for each manufacturing team
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
  • Continual communication with customers and vendors
  • Point of contact with long term customers

Position requires a Bachelor's degree and Certified Public Accountant certification
