WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A NURSE PRACTITIONER BASED IN INDIANAPOLIS TO SERVE OUR PATIENT BASE IN THIS GROWING AREA - INCLUDING INDIANAPOLIS, SHELBYVILLE, COLUMBUS, EDINBURGH, MARTINSVILLE, MOORESVILLE, BROWNSBURG, AVON, DANVILLE, AND SURROUNDING AREAS. NEW GRADUATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!

Based in Central Indiana, Traveling Podiatry Care is a foot and lower extremity care practice serving home-bound and disabled patients in their homes - wherever that may be! Traveling Podiatry Care provides care in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, and senior communities as well as in private residences and group homes throughout the Indianapolis area and surrounding counties. Whether it is routine nail care, diabetic foot care, or a lower leg or foot wound, Traveling Podiatry Care can provide the high quality, comprehensive care any patient needs in the comfort of their own home.

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice! Qualified candidates will possess, or be willing to learn, the following skills and traits:

*Conducts comprehensive evaluations and routine podiatry care.

*Excellent beside manner focused on building rapport and a relationship with patients and their family.

*Provides wound care management. Additional training and certification is available.

*Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.

*Open, clear and concise communication in a positive, patient-centered manner with all sources, from families and facilities (including DON, ADON, management and medical/office staff) to TPC staff and partners.

*Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment (cold and heat sterilization methods) on a daily basis.

*Responsible for applying proper coding guidelines and indicating appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients

*Ability to travel to patient homes, including navigating stairs, elevators, sidewalks, and unpaved surfaces.

*A willingness to provide care for those unable to get to a standard office setting.

*Podiatry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of foot disorders.

*Ability to work independently on a daily basis.

*Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.

*Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.

*Self starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful and attentive care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*NP

*Current State professional license.

*Valid driver’s license with a good driving history

*Clean Background Check

BENEFITS:

*Base salary with performance incentive quarterly bonus, makes yearly earning potential between $84,000 - $100,800 the first year. Subsequent yearly income potential up to $132,000, with bonus.

*Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits.

*2 weeks paid vacation, and the entire company is closed for 2 weeks at the winter holiday, which equals 4 weeks paid time off per year.

*Office-based staff to schedule patients, process orders and track testing results, and market to continue to grow the patient base.

*Appointments are scheduled to allow time for proper patient interaction and relationship building.

*Not being confined to the office-based practice!
