Deliver the steel that builds America and be home for the moments that matter! Come be the backbone that supports south Austin's rapid expansion by delivering CMC's fabricated rebar. Our drivers will be driving locally and home nightly! No CDL required.
We ask that you have the following qualifications:
- 1 year of tractor trailer/gooseneck experience driving in a dense traffic area.
- Ability to accurately complete delivery paperwork
- Coordinate with production, sales, and customers
- Ensure vehicles and trailers are properly and securely loaded
- Maintain logs of vehicle service or repair status
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Successfully pass a company road test and have a clean driving record
- Ability to work outside and lift heavy loads
- Willingness to learn, tackle new challenges, and work well with a team or independently
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Clear Motor Vehicle Report with no preventable accidents or violations within the last 3 years
