[Music Industry] Graphic Design Intern
Location: Remote / Burbank, CA

Interested in working in the music industry? Traklife Media Group, a full-scale media and artist resource company specializing in the emerging music market, is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join the team. This role will directly assist the Core Operations Team in executing marketing and promotion tasks for a new Traklife Project catered to serve the artist community as well as content designing for Traklife's media presence. This will be a voluntary and unsalaried internship but college credit can be credited towards an undergraduate degree (if applicable) along with our referral program to future employers. Also, this opportunity can transition to a paid staff position depending on performance and company status after the internship period is over. The duration of the internship will be during the current Spring Semester, with an urgent start date and an expected end date of June/July of 2023. The internship will require about 10-15 hours per week.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (not limited to):

• Executing and developing marketing assets in various mediums
• Creating promotion and online presence strategies in pursuit of building a community of music creatives and professionals
• Developing content aesthetics for social media platforms
• Designing blog and web content for social and web platforms
• Participation in Operations Team’s efforts to collaborate on new ideas
• Researching and being on top of social media design trends

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in a higher education institution for Graphic Design or other related fields.
• Passionate in learning about the entertainment and music industry
• Collaboratively works with the confidence to share & execute valuable ideas
• Being up to date on current design trends as well as ability to express unique ideas
• A passion for music and the culture around it.

SKILLS:

• Proficient in Adobe Suite (particularly Photoshop, XD, & Illustrator)
• Meticulous attention to detail with great organizational skills
• Exceptional communication (oral and written)
• Very flexible and a self-starter
• Team Player
