The Role:
- Travel to the customer’s site, as needed, to resolve urgent machine and mechanical repairs, and be flexible to stay until the customer is back up and running.
- Do whatever is required to resolve the customer’s repair issues safely, with a high level of excellence.
- Positively exude Triad’s brand and reputation by being a solution provider and the customer’s best defense against downtime.
- Cultivate relationships with customers to develop long-standing, reputable engagement for future business.
Key Objectives:
- Exceed customer expectations by offering premier on-site installation troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair services.
- Supervise and coordinates the activities of the associates in both on-site plumbing and repair services.
- Provide input and expertise in the development of new designs and implementation into the customer’s application.
Responsibilities:
- · Directly supervises mobile services employees.
- · Serve as the face of the company, demonstrating the value of Triad’s mobile services and promoting the quality of Triad products.
- Working supervisor role; works alongside team on on-site projects and in-house repair.
- Supervises, trains and cross-trains departmental associates.
- · Quotes, schedules, organizes, and assigns all work and resources within the department.
- · Ensures all customer projects meet appropriate quality standards.
- · Monitors and improves departmental on-time delivery.
- · Implements process improvements to reduce product cost, improve quality, reduce lead times, and eliminate waste in both product and talent.
- · Ensures a consistent and equal enforcement of company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations which include safe working and housekeeping practices.
- · Coaches, mentors, and develops team members to meet current and future business requirements.
- · Inspects and quotes all OSP and repair jobs. This will include basic layouts of the job, as well as organizing the job to make sure the technicians have all the required tools and components.
- · Creates all orders for OSP and repair jobs.
- Manages inventory from creating transfers, tracking deliveries, tracking usage, and re-stocking materials.
- Research vendors and competitive pricing.
- Researches and procures replacement parts for repairs.
- Troubleshoots units for repair.
- Works with the marketing department and sales force to increase business for the onsite plumbing and repair services.
- Performs hands-on functions when required (per customer needs): Disassembles and reassembles hydraulic and pneumatic components, bench tests, troubleshoots, performs repairs, bends tubing, assembles hose and plumbing lay-outs, etc. May include some light machining where required.
- Acts as a technical resource for Engineering; assists with new development and application implementation.
Education, Knowledge and Skills
- One-year certificate from college or technical school and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Trade school and or some technical training preferred.
- Ability to serve as the company representative, promoting the excellence of Triad’s products and services, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.
- Ability to effectively diagnose, and repair a range of complex applications for mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and automation equipment.
- Able to complete work within assigned deadlines
- Proven leadership ability/experience and ability to build strong rapport with coworkers and supervisors

- Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 100 pounds.
- Must get at least a 70% on the Mechanical aptitude test.
- Must be able to read schematics and I.D. tags.
- Must have the ability to see and avoid safety hazards in various environments (including customer sites).
- Must be able to use power and pneumatic tools in the shop.
- Must have a good driving record and be able to travel overnight if needed.
- Must be able to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, perform tube bending and component rebuilding.
- Must have prior experience in hydraulic troubleshooting and hose assembly as well as possess a basic working knowledge of electrical components.
- Ability to stand and walk on a manufacturing floor for up to 8 hours per day, run heavy machinery, frequently climb, stoop, bend and crawl under heavy equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
