Busy one-provider Ophthalmology practice looking for full-time medical receptionist. Interested applicants should have experience in customer service and be able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Must also be a self-motivated, independent worker and be able to work as part of a team.

Duties include answering phones, scheduling patients, patient check in and check out, collecting payments from patients, and completing other clerical duties as needed.

Skills Needed:

Familiarity with scheduling software and electronic medical records.

Experience with various types of insurances and insurance companies.

Understanding of co-pays, co-insurances, and deductibles.

Computer experience necessary.

Handling multi-line phone system and other office equipment such as copier, fax machine and scanner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
