Position Summary: Performs mechanical HVAC/Plumbing calculations and designs for commercial and industrial projects. HVAC/Plumbing. This position will report to the Charlotte office.

Basic Duties:

• Responsibilities include design of HVAC, plumbing, dust collection systems, crushing and screening plants and material handling systems.
• Produce design drawings, the position requires specification writing/editing abilities, preparation of equipment bid packages, shop drawing review, vendor drawings, review and report writing. Emphasis is on drawing production.
• Interdisciplinary coordination and QA/QC of work products.
• Interaction and coordinate with clients, vendors, coworkers, other disciplines, and departments as necessary to coordinate and effectively communicate project design goals, needs, and overall status.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years progressive experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field.
• PE required.
• Must have experience with a variety of project types, sizes and complexities.
• Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, 3D modeling in Revit, and MS offic sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a selfstarter, detailedoriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a discipline lead for multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
