Description

Our high-profile lifestyle client is seeking a Marketing Project Manager for a long term freelance opportunity.

This is a hybrid role - you will be required to go onsite 3 days per week onsite in Santa Monica, 2 days remote.

In this role, you will work within the trade marketing team to support fundamental tasks involved in the POS development process from concept development to delivery.

You will be responsible for executing the retail marketing and visibility strategies for assigned customers. You will bring marketing campaigns to life through multifaceted POS plans in assigned customers through collaborative relationships with the Shopper Marketing & Key Account sales teams.

Marketing Project Manager Duties:

executes merchandising/ POS strategy & development for assigned projects/ accounts/ channels

serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact for assigned accounts’ POS and merchandising initiatives

supports the annual business plan process (including guideline and “look of success” development) with guidance on effective POS solutions to achieve commercial and Brand objectives

owns and communicates Trade Marketing production timelines to all relevant stakeholders including Agencies, Brand, Operations, and Field teams

support the development of new POS Innovations

drafts project briefs by gathering applicable requirements from all internal stakeholders

builds project timelines and manages internal stakeholders and external partners against all deliverables

maintains accurate project statuses and notes in project management systems

collaborates with various internal teams and vendors

reviews all custom print POS requests for assigned customers/ channels to ensure quality and compliance with brand standards

Marketing Project Manager Requirements:

2+ years experience in consumer goods industry

brand marketing and/or product development experience is preferred

strong planning and project management experience

excellent communication skills (written + verbal)

highly detail oriented and organized

knowledge of POS production (Print, Permanent, Temporary) preferred

able to work with cross functional internal teams and 3rd party vendors in a fast paced/deadline driven environment

proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
