Job Description :

The Marketing Director plans, implements, and evaluates marketing, communications, and community relations activities to increase occupancy in all buildings; enhance employee recruitment and retention; increase brand awareness of Luther Park Community and support fundraising initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Periodically conduct market research, analyze results, and develop marketing and communication strategies based on findings.
  • Design marketing materials as needed.
  • Manage development and production of printed marketing materials, including the Luther Park calendar, to ensure compliance with brand standards and organizational goals.
  • Regularly review and update the Luther Park Community website.
  • Write the quarterly newsletter.
  • Utilize social media and digital advertising to reach target audiences.
  • Oversee media relations.
  • Review requests for paid advertising and sponsorship and determine which opportunities most effectively reach Luther Park’s target audiences and marketing goals
  • Coordinate the use of interns, volunteers and/or third-party vendors such as photographers, graphic designers, etc. to support marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with networking groups and referral sources including hospitals, other long-term care facilities, agencies, senior centers, and others.
  • Provide leadership to Luther Park’s participation in community events such as fundraising walks and senior health fairs.
  • Conduct tours in the Trinity Center, Gardens, Luther Park Apartments and Rose Glen.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) module of PointClickCare to track leads for prospective residents from the point of first contact through admission.
  • Utilize data from competitors’ services, amenities, and fees in the primary market area and advise leaders on pricing for the annual budget.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget for Luther Park Community.
  • Plan and conduct events such as an open house and lunch and learn program to attract new residents.
  • Advise senior leaders and management staff on issues related to marketing, communications, resident relations, and community relations.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports on results of marketing efforts.

Minimal Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and /or sales from an accredited educational institution.
  • Three years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to building effective working relationships with people of all backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed and ability to work independently.
  • Support of Luther Park Community’s mission, vision and core values.
