The Marketing and Operations Coordinator is responsible to develop, plan, and implement all marketing, public relations, fundraising, and donor development programs to build awareness of Life Options leading to increased clients, partners, donors, community relationships, volunteers, and resources. The role also includes financial oversight and ensuring the effective operation of the center. They will be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. The goal is to ensure that this positions delivers the desirable outcome to our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Prepare reports for Executive Director
  • Along with the Executive Director, act as a primary spokesperson for Life Options.
  • Develop and execute the organization’s marketing strategy
  • Define and manage the Life Options brand
  • Design, order, revise, and stock marketing materials
  • Keep client and partner websites up to date.
  • Manage social media marketing.
  • Write content and develop design for all donor communications
  • Maintain strong relationships with key contacts within churches, the media, other pro-life and Christian organizations, community groups and leaders, businesses, and Life Options Ambassadors.
  • Oversee finances and maintain accurate financial records and statistics
  • Ensure that bills and affiliations are kept up to date
  • Facilitate Missouri Pregnancy Center state tax credit
  • Help process applications and conduct background checks for all employees and volunteers
  • Maintain donor database
  • In conjunction with the Executive Director, develop year-end budget with Budget Committee for proposal to the Board
  • Run payroll and make deposits for the organization
  • Order office, cleaning, and client supplies
  • Maintain facilities including repairs and maintenance, oversee custodial duties, mowing and snow removal, and other needs as they arise.
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.

Skills

  • Excel in writing, communications, planning, public speaking, and problem-solving
  • Preffered marketing Degree/Certificate and/or experience in social media, graphic design, business development, and event planning
  • Understanding of principles of accounting
  • Flexible to work some evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work with staff and volunteers and to be a unified, committed team player
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a plus
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
