Job Description

Vineyard Home is an in-house design, install and maintain firm which specializes in Home and Small Business Technology systems from Audio/Video, Lighting Control, Networking, Automation, and Shading but also offer Fireplace and Closet systems, as well as Outdoor Living amenities. Vineyard Home is looking for an experienced, well-rounded individual who has extensive experience with but not limited to upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of client computer systems, networks, phone, cloud systems and servers. Vineyard Home works alongside many industry professionals such as builders, architects, designers, and project managers as well as home and business owners. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a motivated self-starter and resourceful learner, possess strong user interaction and problem-solving skills, and be able to prioritize multiple requests and work assignments while working alongside our Team.

Responsibilities would include:

· Networks and Systems Administration

· Maintain IT infrastructure including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, phone systems, software, and security cameras.

· Set up accounts, licenses, and subscriptions while ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls

· Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

· Troubleshoot issues and outages, escalate and log cases.

· Upgrade systems with new releases, security policies, and models

· Develop expertise to train staff and clientele on new technologies

· Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

· Travel to and meet with clientele in their respective homes and businesses to educate, train, and instruct users on product operation

· Facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors and other technology resources within the organization.

· Work closely with contractors and outside vendors to plan and complete projects.

· Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.

· Designs and implements infrastructure solutions to meet business and technical objectives.

· Other work related tasks assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or Similar experience (preferred)

· Network or System Administrator experience (minimum 3-5 years)

· Understanding and working knowledge of networking configuration and troubleshooting.

· Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.

· Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to and collaborate with business leaders.

· Valid US Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
