Position Responsibilities
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of a branch Purchasing team including performance management and development.
Lead a team of buyers to ensure branch distribution centers are always in stock to maintain a high service level.
Maintain and build relationships with vendors and distribution management.
Partner with product managers to solve vendor issues, vendor changes and potential product additions.
Recruit, retain, and mentor branch Buying team to achieve purchasing goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
7 years of purchasing and/or inventory management experience.
5 years of experience managing and leading a team.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solving skills.
