Sales & Customer Service Representative (Stevensville, MT)

Perma-Chink Systems is the Log Home Care & Maintenance Authority. We need an experienced customer service rep to join the sales team in our company-owned store in Stevensville, MT.

We are interviewing for one full-time, hourly inside sales associate. Perma-Chink is a national specialty building supply manufacturer who sells our products to owners of log homes, plus to their builders & contractors, all in a showroom & phone sales atmosphere. You will report to the store manager & work as part of a 3-person team.

Responsibilities:
o Provide outstanding customer service.
o Answer phones, input sales orders, arrange shipments, collect payments.
o Become trained & stay updated on our products, trends & technical information.
o Support the efforts of the Company outside commercial sales person in your area.
o Maintain an organized & tidy showroom.
o Communicate effectively with customers & co-workers in MT & other stores.
o Increase sales using your skills.

Qualifications:
o Good communication skills, both verbal & written.

o Excellent listening skills are necessary.
o Dependable to work this Mon - Fri job and an occasional Sat workshop.
o Pleasant personality, able to build rapport with customers.
o Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated & have good problem solving skills.
o Detail oriented, especially when following up with customers & co-workers.
o Professional demeanor, business casual appearance; friendly, outgoing personality.
o Computer, e-mail & data entry skills required. MS Excel skills are mandatory.
o Some public speaking and/or product demo experience would be a plus.

Compensation:
o Starting salary $15.50-$16.50 per hour based on experience, plus annual profit sharing bonus.
o Personal Paid time off and 6 paid holidays.
