The Human Resource Manager partners with business leaders to educate and enforce Serigraph policies and practices. The Human Resources Manager participates in employee investigations, escalating to the Vice President Human Resources as needed. They assist employees with questions or issues as they arise and administer benefits or leave programs. The Human Resource Manager works as an ambassador for Serigraph and may work with outside vendors and community organizations. Act as the second point of contact for leadership and the department when the Vice President is unavailable.
- Educate and enforce Serigraph policies and practices across the organization.

Partner with leadership to engage employees, ensure consistent application of policies, and issue effective disciplinary measures when needed.

Administer effective employee investigations with confidentiality and bring to the appropriate resolution following Serigraph policies, employment law, and HR best practices.

Assist employees with questions or concerns with professionalism.

Execute assigned areas of responsibility throughout the employee life cycle such as succession management, employee leave requests, or benefits administration.

Lead open enrollment initiatives annually and act as the primary point of contact for employees during open enrollment.

Complete required compliance reporting such as EEO-1 or ACA reporting.

Act as a mentor or otherwise help others on the HR Team to improve their knowledge or skills.

Assist the VP of Human Resources in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.

Coordinate training activities, leadership and development initiatives and succession planning.

Provide requested business reporting as requested or on an ad-hoc basis.

Ensure employee records are maintained and accurate per company guidelines.

Six or more years of experience in a human resources generalist role in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of employment law, both federal and state, and HR best practices, including experience with employee relations and investigations.

Experience in HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems. Experience in UKG ideal.

Past administration of employee benefits and leave. Knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, and DOL laws.

Professionalism and confidentiality.

Excellent communication, organization, and accuracy.

Experience in Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in human resources preferred or equivalent experience.

Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Experience working in ISO, IATF, or other quality management systems preferred, but not required.
