We are looking to add an experienced energetic HR Generalist to our HR team to support administrative and strategic initiatives. This role concentrates on training and workforce development support, benefits and wellness program administration, compliance, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate training logistics such as maintaining electronic training calendar, room reservations, resources, and communications
  • Maintain training and workforce development activities, attendance, and assessments
  • Assist with organizing and tracking workforce development initiatives to support Operational Departments
  • Benefits and Wellness Program Administrator duties such as enrollment, changes, database maintenance, and monthly invoices
  • Maintain electronic and paper employee files
  • Support employees with HR related topics and resolve issues elevating matters to the appropriate staff when necessary
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Stay current on trends, best practices, HR regulations and employment law
  • Cross train to support the HR team providing back-up as needed

Required Skills:

  • Effective collaboration with other departments maintaining a one team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and conflict resolution
  • Strong technology skill with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Must be detail oriented and organized to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of human resources experience required
  • Training/Workforce Development experience highly preferred
  • HRIS and ERP experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • SHRM-CP a plus

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $60K - $70K Based on Skill Level
