Shield HealthCare is looking for a Human Resources Generalist for our corporate office in Valencia, CA. The Human Resources Generalist assists in all administrative functions of the Human Resources Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in all functional areas of HR
• Processes all new hire paperwork to include HRIS input and creating files
• Organizes and maintains filing systems including personnel file maintenance and maintaining purge schedules
• Performance review processing including reminder reports, follow-up, data entry, scanning and filing
• On-board processing for all new employees, to include scheduling and delivering New Hire Orientation
• Maintains employee badging & security access systems
• Assists with benefit administration tasks to include orientation, enrollments, monthly billing and providing assistance to employees as needed
• Maintains & prepares reports such as HR Dept Monthly Reporting, Organizational Charts, 90-day Surveys, etc.
• Maintains professional licensure tracking
• Maintains accurate TB/Flu shot records, to include scheduling for employees when appropriate
• Maintains incentive ticket sales program
• Processes incoming mail and prepares correspondence
• Creates and maintains HR forms/information on company intranet site

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Management or related experience
• 3+ years prior work experience in an HR Generalist Role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong project management skills
• Strong attention to detail
