$22.50 - $26.00 hourly

The impact you can have

The HR Coordinator, Finance and Payroll is responsible for assisting with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR Department goals and objectives in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the Retail Support Center.

What you'll do

PAYROLL, INCENTIVES, TIME AND ATTENDANCE

Prepares, submits, and audits weekly payroll and incentives
Manages manual checks
Inputs new hire hours and assigns badge numbers
Conducts Workday data entry including new hires, terminations, and promotions
Administers garnishments
Manages comm data cards
Ensures proper premiums and shift differentials are being applied
Administers and manages the time and attendance policy of all RSC employees
Ensures the proper level of discipline is issued per the time and attendance policy
Maintains the proper points balance and adjusts as needed per the time and attendance policy
Ensures that vacation, sick, and deferred holidays are managed and paid properly
Workday Report - DC Report (labor hour reporting), Daily and Weekly hours, time off report, unmatched punches, corrective actions, meal waivers, and OT
FINANCE

AP/AR Functions
Clearing Employee Store Statements
FILING AND ADMIISTRATION

Responsible to maintain HR filing for the department
Order Office Supplies
RECOGNITION

Manage birthdays, anniversary milestones, and employee recognition
BENEFITS AND WELLNESS

Assist employees with benefit related questions.
Assist with annual benefits open enrollment
EMPLOYEE SERVICES/HR COMMUNICATIONS

Serves as subject matter experts and contact for teammates & management regarding human resources policies, programs, and initiatives
Resolves teammates questions or concerns
Assists with employee events
RECRUITMENT

Provides back-up assistance in recruitment efforts. This can include conducting phone screens, sourcing resumes and posting positions through various sites.
Provide backup assistance for PAT's, pre-employment drug testing, offer letters and scheduling start dates.
Attend job fairs at both on-site and off-site locations
Legal Compliance

Remains current on all local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

Bachelor's Degree preferred; Emphasis on Human Resources a plus
PHR/SPHR desirable
Minimum 2-3 year's experience in human resources and/or payroll
Knowledge and skill in payroll and employment law
Proven experience in building and maintaining professional relationships
Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated administrative experience
Expertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet
Experience in Workday preferred
Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
Good attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Strong interest in recruitment, employment branding and general human resources practices
