Human Resource Director

The New Mexico Finance Authority (NMFA) in Santa Fe is seeking a Human Resource Director to oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes with strong recruiting experience. Duties involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development and talent management. The Human Resource Manager will ensure that there is a productive workplace where everyone works to realize the established mission and objectives. Promotes company values and shapes a positive culture.

The NMFA is a government instrumentality whose mission is to advance New Mexico by financing impactful, well-planned projects. This is an exceptional opportunity for candidates motivated by the mission of NMFA. The Human Resource Manger will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy; manage the recruitment and selection process; support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital; develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems tactics and procedures across the organization; nurture a positive working environment; oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance; maintain pay plan and benefits program; assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; 8-10 years progressively responsible experience. In depth knowledge of HR management theory, methods and practices including benefits, retirement plans, compensation systems, performance management systems, organizational design, recruitment, and selection practices.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Master's (Required)

Experience:

  • Human Resources Management : 10 years (Preferred)
  • Human Resources: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
