Job Responsibilities:

 Manages operations of the Pharmacy Department including pharmacy technicians, customer service, and profitability

 Maintains compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations as well Company policy and procedures.

 Manages Staff Pharmacists to do the same.

 Provide patient-centered care, including counseling on prescription and non-prescription pharmaceuticals, and provider or physician collaboration as needed.

 Call all customers 3-5 days prior to refill date to ensure compliance verify the
medications are on hand.

 Purchase medications and pharmacy supplies daily as needed while adhering to budget.

 Proper inventory management is a must.

 Provide a personalized customer experience by giving our valued customers the highest level of service available on the islands.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

 A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

 Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Doctoral degree (PharmD) or equivalent in Pharmacy

 Current valid license to practice pharmacy in state of employment

 Immunization Certification

 Multitasking and time management skills coupled with being able to prioritize tasks

 Excellent communication (written and verbal) to communicate with patients and other health care professionals

 Analytical ability to interpret information and recommend solutions

 Qualified to participate in federal health care programs, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid.

 Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and/or Pharmacy Owner.

 Repetitive standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, stretching and reaching are required.
