Introduction to the team
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in our people efforts. As a champion of the Moss Adams culture and values, the HR Coordinator supports the firm’s People Cornerstone strategies and shows passion for partnering with our leaders to grow our business. This position drives key processes and provides active support to leaders and employees. The HR Coordinator brings innovative leadership, makes data-driven decisions, and serves as a trusted business advisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Regional HR Manager, people programs, and the employee lifecycle
  • Process people transactions for new hires, job changes, compensation updates, and departures in the HRIS with focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Support the bi-annual performance management process by participating in the planning process, meeting preparation, coordination, and follow up
  • Field questions from employees and leaders on people processes and the interpretation of policies; escalate as needed
  • Maintain online employee records per firm policy and conduct audits as needed to ensure compliance
  • Generate reports and take action as needed
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate logistics, and prepare needed materials for people related programs and firmwide initiatives
  • Maintain federal and state required compliance postings in local office
  • Hone technical knowledge of employment laws and trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, innovate, and participate in team-wide projects focused on process or program improvement
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experienced required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate with all levels within the firm
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion
  • Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint). Experience with an HRIS preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
  • May require some overtime hours
