Overview
A full stack engineer will take end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Our ideal candidate has experience building products across stacks and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back end languages. Candidates with experience building APIs that are consumed by mobile applications is a plus. The engineer will have the ability to define a scalable infrastructure to fit the needs of our clients. They should be capable of working effectively in a team environment and have a generally positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable end-to-end solutions for various clients
• Write clean, bug-free (at least try hard) code on the front and backend
• Use Test Driven Development of new features to ensure stable systems
• Work with other developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality
• Stay up-to-date with platform developments such as new capabilities, limitations, and tools
• Report to the department director and project managers directly
• Handle deployments of stacks via cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
• Recognize and resolve security issues
• Help the department grow by suggesting and implementing process improvements
• Recognize bottlenecks in backend or frontend technologies

Qualifications

• At least 1yr working experience with Typescript
• Strong experience with one or more backend technologies such as: Node.js, GoLang, Python, Ruby, PHP, C#
• Experience with at least one of the following: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite
• Experience developing complex and well performing user interfaces using frameworks like React
• Experience with docker and Kubernetes for cloud deployment
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
• Experience in building consumer facing Single Page Applications in Javascript ES6+, HTML
• Understand browser API limitations for certain features
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, developers and designers
• Knowledge in responsive web design
• Proficient knowledge in git and Github for SCM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
