We are expanding and seeking a suitable candidate for a bookkeeping staff position with a progressive accounting firm located in San Angelo, Texas. Individual will work up to approximately 36-40 hours per week during off season with possible overtime in busy tax season with flexible hours available to work around family schedules. Position could also be part-time for the right person. Responsible for posting banking and credit card transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and after-the-fact payroll in various versions of QuickBooks software including QuickBooks desktop and online, as well as reconciling banking and credit card accounts and tying down balance sheet accounts for multiple clients.

Only candidates with recent QuickBooks experience will be seriously considered for the position. Greater interest to those familiar with the public accounting industry and having tax bookkeeping experience. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and also responsible for scanning, electronic filing, telephone answering, and general office administration. The successful candidate is typically able to juggle several projects/clients at once. Although the candidate will work independently, being a team-player and client-focused is highly desired.
