RECEPTION, FRONT OFFICE, FAMILY MEDICINE

Accepting applications for front office/receptionist position in a Family Medicine practice. Private physician office with Nurse Practitioner and support staff; not hospital owned. Seeking energetic and personable team member to interact with patients at the front desk. Excellent communication and social skills are essential. Must be organized, able to multitask and communicate effectively with patients young and old! Position is FT 35-40 hours/week Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm) with some flexibility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES, & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Greet each and every patient on a friendly compassionate manner throughout the work day

* Maintain daily patient schedule in a courteous and professional manner—answering phones, check in/check out patients, schedule appointments, collect payments

* Patient communication utilizing e-mail, Microsoft Word & Excel; proficient computer skills necessary

• Compassion with high level of customer service for our patients and fellow staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Spanish language skill is a plus
• Well-developed analytical and problem solving abilities
• Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks concurrently
• High degree of initiative, accountability and independent judgment

• Professional manner and appearance at all times

* Must be able/comfortable to assist physician, nurse practitioner with chaperoning duties, as needed

Experience is an advantage and preferable for this position; however, a bright individual with motivation and initiative can learn the job, interact with patients, and truly excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
