A summer intern who will become a part of the FEG Team, where our goal is to guide you with learning real-world experience in the Financial Planning industry along with assisting us on our mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals.

What to Expect:

The purpose of the summer intern is to act in the role of a Paraplanner. Meaning to serve as the primary preparation and support resource to multiple Associate Advisors and Financial Advisors on our team and complete educational projects along the way. A great way to have a glance into the Financial Planning industry is to be in a position that acts as an essential link between the Associate Advisors and internal support functions and is a consistent point of contact and resource for our client base (families). Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for all family meetings, including paperwork preparation and presentation materials and follow up on post-meeting action items.
  • Attend meetings with the Advisor, typing meeting notes, documenting portfolio reviews, and assisting the Advisor with obtaining signatures on applications.
  • Prepare and deliver correspondence and other client communication.
  • Responsible for compiling, entering, and regularly auditing all CRM-related data and tasks.
  • Assist Associate Advisors with several important elements of data gathering/summarizing to complete the financial planning process.
  • Responsible for full functionality and manipulation of software, reporting, and technology applications.
  • Additional administrative duties include greeting clients, routing phone calls, filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Responsible for completion & presentation of summer project

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.
  • 3.0 or higher
