Columbia Sussex is currently seeking an experienced and energetic Bartender for our full-service property, the Columbia Marriott.

Situated in the heart of downtown Columbia, just minutes from the University of South Carolina, our welcoming hotel is the city's premier choice for travelers to Columbia. We have 300 guest rooms and suites, 16,000 feet of flexible meeting space, and Midland’s with award-winning shrimp and grits.

Columbia Sussex, our ownership, currently has 39 full service hotels under the Westin, Hilton. JW Marriott, Marriott, Doubletree, and Hyatt flags. We are growing our company with three new hotels added in 2018. Columbia Sussex believes strongly with developing and promoting from within. Many of our Directors and General Managers all started at supervisory positions.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years Bartending. A demonstrated record of success in product and inventory control is required with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Also must possess a hands on attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be knowledgeable of the cannon of standard cocktail. Consistent tips.

TiPS certification is a plus!
