Job Description :

SUMMARY
This position will support and manage all Martin Energy Services terminals environmental projects within the on-going waste program and other environmental projects. Work with Terminal management and customers to manage various program protocols for all environmental media ensuring compliance and customer expectations. This position with report to MES Manager Environmental Program and senior management at MES.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage/develop/oversee regulatory compliance and documentation for each environmental project
  • Provide communication, profiling, manifesting, handling, transportation and disposal of waste products for each environmental project
  • Communication with MES management and customer project management on reports regarding activities under a project
  • Support all MES Shorebased terminals for environmental compliance requirements
  • Deliver presentations to MES/management on environmental project performance
  • Develop/implement strategic actions to improve program performance
  • Ensure regulatory notifications requirements are met
  • Develop/implement/modify Waste Minimization program
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • B.S degree in Environmental Engineering or relevant experience in the oil & gas industry
  • 2-4 years experience in Oil & Gas waste management
  • Computer Skills
