Electrical/Computer Engineer

You’ll be working side by side with mechanical, software, optical, applications experts and other electrical engineers to bring products to life from conception to final manufacturing. The laser industry spans a large range of applications (automotive, aerospace, medical, nuclear, 3D additive) providing a constant flow of new and exciting projects.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Strong skills in embedded microcontrollers programming
• Strong skills in PCB design and layout
• Familiar with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, USB. I2C, SPI, UART)
• Ability to work well with a team as well as unsupervised
• Good oral, written, and communication skills

Bonus Skills:

• Altium PCB design software
• Knowledge of lasers and laser applications
• Soldering of SMT components

Responsibilities:

Using Altium, design PCB's and integrating them into our products
Programming of embedded microcontrollers using C/C++ for NXP MCU's
Test, qualify, and specify components and assemblies
Create engineering reports
