  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Pay Rate: $18.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet, assist and interact with a variety of persons, including: employees, customers, visitors, contractors, public safety officials, and the general public.
  • Take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting their needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Execute plans, directing and coordinating scheduling to ensure the safeguarding and security.
  • Build, improve security operations by developing staff and coordinating needed support services to effectively meet the buildings operational goals.
  • Inspect and observe all assigned areas of responsibility for suspicious activity, safety and security hazards, criminal activity, unsafe conditions, persons in need of assistance or any other unusual condition and effectively report all such incidents immediately.
  • Respond, compile and report all information in regards to theft, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occur onsite as well as building a relationship with local law enforcement
  • Company policy requires that records be kept of transactions. Assist in maintaining all Daily Logs, Incident Reports, etc. pertaining to the facility in a neat and systematic order.
  • Adheres and enforces all building and company policies while ensuring that all staff members are properly uniformed and licensed as per State Guidelines to report to duty
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities while developing alternative methods for security operation improvements
  • Assist in the completion of audit and/or assessments within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Provided limited access badge support which may include operating digital camera equipment, badge printer maintenance, coordination of badge activation and distribution of new and/or replacement badges.
  • Director of Security is to be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week to respond to any site emergencies or staff shortages.
  • Assist in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning and maintenance of post orders.
  • Identify and resolve security related problems with staff by following progressive discipline and conducting training as needed for the betterment of the job site.
  • Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner and demeanor.
  • Assure prompt and positive action on all resident complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions, as well as conduct quality assurance follow-up.
  • Operate multi-line telephone, radio equipment, laptop, pc, smart phones and use professional telephone etiquette in handling resident request. Use work order systems when/if necessary. Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm panels.
  • Maintain key log and all applicable data sheets. Take ownership of all appropriately loaned keys to vendors, contractors, realtors and guests. Inspect and observe all assigned areas of responsibility for suspicious activity, safety and security hazards, criminal activity, unsafe conditions, persons in need of assistance or any other unusual condition and effectively report all such incidents immediately.
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property as well as clean and organized front desk.
  • Assist in the completion of audit and/or assessments within assigned areas of responsibility.

A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Demonstrate a stable work history
  • Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks, drug test, interviews
  • Possess 3-5 years of supervisory level experience in the security industry or, hotel, concierge, resort experience
  • Possess a valid Florida Security D License Basic qualifications and skills:
  • Speak and read English, clearly and fluently. Bilingual (Spanish) A PLUS
