Content Marketing Specialist Job Summary:

Covering a wide range of channels, from social media to events, we are looking for a hands-on professional to join our collaborative team that will provide a consistent voice across all marketing activities and create genuine connections.

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background. We are looking for someone who can strategize marketing plans and implement creative solutions that increase both brand awareness and new sales leads. Developing engaging content through storytelling to attract and retain customers, you would need to stay up to date with new technologies and marketing trends. You Will:

• Strategize and implement a campaign calendar that develops thought leadership, drives awareness and traffic, and cultivates leads.
• Develop, write, and deliver copy for multiple channels such as social media, articles/blogs, email marketing, case studies, websites, and print advertising.
• Use your understanding of SEO and keyword research to deliver targeted content.
• Manage email and social media accounts.
• Analyze data, conduct market research, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to develop marketing content.
• Assist with event marketing, including packing and shipping of show assets and occasionally help with the set-up and staffing of trade shows.
• Perform other marketing duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

• Received a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field OR the equivalent of professional experience of 3+ years.
• Excellent grammar and writing skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Ability to travel approximately 15%, including occasional weekends.
• To occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.

Your Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• B2B marketing experience.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Experience with CRM software
• A portfolio of writing or creative work - applications submitting portfolio will be considered first.
