We are a wholesale specialty coffee roastery based out of Brooklyn, New York. We roast and distribute specialty coffee to several hundred cafes along the east coast.
Our company is growing and expanding rapidly, and we are searching for a CEO who will assist with company management and its growth. The ideal candidate will have substantial industry experience, experience in growing other coffee companies, a passion for coffee, and proven experience roasting coffee. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who must be great with staff, organized, and efficient.
You will report directly to a company founder.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Day-to-day management of the roastery.
· Overseeing expansion and growth development plans for the company.
· Green bean buying and relationships with existing green bean suppliers
· Demonstrated relationships with cafes and chains of cafés that are supplied with specialty roasted coffee.
· Leading the Team
· Problem solving and managing staff.
· Work in conjunction with one of our Directors to develop strategic plans for optimizing productivity.
· Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement.
· Uphold standards of excellence and quality.
· Seek out and develop new business relationships.
· Provide guidance to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
· Work with the team to ensure all orders are received and shipped on time.
· Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion while accomplishing your own goals.
· Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees when required.
· Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time.
· Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
· Be our point of contact for our customers and delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
· Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved
· Hands on assistance to the team as required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
