Wandering Bison Coffee is looking to bring on to our team a cashier/customer service. This is great for a teenager or young adult entering the work place. We have experienced exponential growth over the last few years, which allowed us to relocate to a new building with a brand-new commercial kitchen and endless possibilities. Wandering Bison Coffee is in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota, in the heart of Hot Springs. We serve a diverse customer background with a seasonal tourist economy. We hold steady during off season and are open year around. Ideal Candidate is a self starting independent worker, who has attention to detail, and a good work ethic.

Cashiers are responsible for maintaining positive impressions for Wandering Bison Coffee.

Process sales transactions

• Calculate the cost of products or services
• Accept payments
• Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
• Answer customer questions about products or services
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
• Report issues with equipment
• Work as a team to meet shop sales goals
• Handle customer complains
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise
• Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information
