The Business Analyst role will be tasked with working with customers & various departments to answer customer escalations & disputes, and is responsible for customer demand management through sales forecast analysis. Position owns fill rate planning through the maintenance and coordination of inventory as it relates to the warehouse and fulfillment of customer orders, management of E&O and support business with analyzing and interpreting all aspects of various data assets for reporting purposes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Tracks orders in Syspro system; coordinates with warehouse. Owns fill rate planning and SIOP Process
• Provides forecasting; makes recommendations for Purchase orders, or inventory transfers from other MRC BU’s.
• Manages customer interface, requested schedule updates, complaints and charge backs through customer systems. Requires daily updates and answers, addressing customer complaints and chargebacks by creating and managing disputes in customers SPOC (Supplier Performance On-Time Collaboration software). Must be performed in time period required by customer each week
• Monitors customers supplier dashboard metrics and score cards and leads timely corrective action plans for same.
• Build and track business metrics & create dashboards with support from IT
• Create, manage, and distribute standard & ad hoc reports to support customers and internal teams.
• Responsible for accuracy of inventory levels, including weekly cycle counting, performs inventory adjustment and leads investigation for shortages or discrepancies.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining warehouse inventory profile, defines stock policy, manages safety stock levels, and owns excess and obsolete material management.
• Serve as backup for warehouse supervisor role related to receiving, shipping and management of customer SSCP, (Supplier Shipment Confirmation Portal)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• Strong analytic and logic/reasoning skills.
• Ability to be flexible and a willingness to learn.
• Intermediate to advance skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with reporting and BI packages (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.), preferred
• Ability to take initiative on projects and ability to work independently to drive results.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred in business management, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in customer service, business analytics, or accounting support.
