Branch Shuttle Driver
Our drivers are important members of the store team. The primary function of this position is to maintain good relations with customers and branch store staff by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. This position requires long distance & repeated deliveries day in and day out as well as in store stocking and cleaning when not on delivery. Please see Required Skills before applying.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Loading, shuttling, & unloading parts for transfer to our branch store located in Baldwin City, KS
- Providing timely and correct parts deliveries to Gardner, New Century & Olathe commercial customers
- Maintaining a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance
- Maintaining the delivery vehicle to include cleanliness & maintenance of the vehicle
- Provide in-store support including cleaning, restocking, & facing sales floor using Store Recovery Checklist when not shuttling parts or making customer deliveries
- Responsible for proper use of employee business debit card
- To check invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery
- To accurately maintain customer invoices to and from deliveries
Required skills include:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Do not apply if you have had at fault accidents, DUI, or moving violations within previous four years
- Ability to work a fixed weekly schedule that may include Saturdays (8a-5p) and occasional minor holidays
- Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work on time
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs without assistance & bend, twist, squat, climb, push, and pull
- Must enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment
- Auto parts knowledge is a plus and desired
