  CONTRACT BILLING CONSULTANT | 2 Months | $17- $19/Hour + Overtime

  • Pay: $17-$19/hour + Overtime, depending on experience.
  • Location: ONSITE
  • Duration: 2 Months
  • Start Date: ASAP

  A well-known Columbia,SC based distribution company is seeking a Contract Billing Consultant to assist the controller with a large billing project that is expected to last approximately two months. There is a possibility of extension. This role is ONSITE and requires candidates to work standard business hours Mon-Fri.

  As a Billing Consultant, you will be responsible for creating invoices and credit memos, updating customer files, and sending invoices and payment reminders to customers.

  Principal Accountabilities

  • Issue invoices to customers

  • Issue monthly customer statements

  • Update customer files with issued invoices

  • Process credit memos

  • Update the customer master file with contact information

  • Track exceptions between the shipping log and invoice register

  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites

  • Submit invoices by electronic data interchange

  Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • 1-3 years of high volume billing, A/R, and A/P experience.
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Previous Accounting and Business Analysis experience is preferred, but not required.
