We are currently seeking an AVP Product Development & Management to join Kirtland Credit Union!

This is what we'd like you to do:
Responsible for market analysis and creativity to develop short-term tactics and long-term plans and strategies for KCU’s suite of deposit and loan product portfolios. Responsible for assisting and supporting the line of business design, implementation, evaluation and profitability analysis of deposit and loan products. Work with lines of business to establish metrics that support line-of-business strategies through increased utilization, engagement, or adoption of KCU’s products and services. Develop products that work well together across lines of business to create a seamless, positive member experience and add value to member relationships.

These are what your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Assumes responsibility for the development progression of creating, implementing, and execution of Credit Union products.
  • Assumes responsibility for the development, implementation, and effective planning of marketing functions.
  • Assumes responsibility for ensuring the effective administration of Marketing activities.
  • Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relationships are established and maintained with members, vendors, the business community, and trade organizations.
  • Assumes responsibility for related functions as required or assigned.

Can you to bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study preferred.
  • Experience working in a credit union and/or financial institution, preferred.
  • Minimum of five – seven years’ experience in product management and development.
  • Demonstrated experience with the development of product and services, features, benefits, and enhancements within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with the successful execution of products, services, and enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of how financial products fit the overall product and services strategy and value proposition of the credit union, including alignment with our brand promise.
  • Knowledge and experience with banking products/services.
  • Experience in evaluating markets, segmentation, value propositions, market trends, and customer feedback to develop new product plans.
  • Knowledge of product development best practice, including graduation strategies and life-cycle marketing.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in innovation, planning, organizing, and change management.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management at the Credit Union.
  • Knowledge of credit union governmental regulations, reporting requirements, and related auditing functions.
  • Skilled in coordinating product enhancements and deployment of new software/applications as needed.
  • Understanding of Credit Union operations and information needs.
  • Experience in working independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgement in problem solving.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
