Job Description
Summary: The Assistant Operations Manager position is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with the day-to-day services we provide to oil and gas companies. The assistant will keep a running inventory of equipment both in the yard and in the field using computer software programs and equipment tracking devices. Assistant will field phone calls, as well as schedule and oversee the crew’s work performance to ensure all tasks are completed to our company standards while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Full Description:

  • Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability
  • Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
  • Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets, and other reports detailing operational status
  • Manage personnel matters
  • Maintain employee time keeping such as approving time sheets and correcting clock in/out issues
  • Recruit talent in our field
  • Attend vendor meetings as needed
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center
  • An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation
  • Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred
  • Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
