Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for all accounts receivable- related tasks for daily operations.

JOB CONTENT: Daily processing of billing for multiple divisions which includes posting the invoices, saving necessary reports and distributing invoices to customers via email or customer portals. Gathering required documentation and approvals to complete credit requests from customers. Responsible for daily cash posting, balancing and reconciliation. This requires the ability to reconcile cash payments to multiple divisions and multiple customers. Further research any customer debits and resolve in a timely manner. Download and prepare customer remittance advices. This includes having the ability to prepare excel files by downloading from customer portals, sorting through the file and adding missing information that is required for cash application. Various other daily and monthly reports.

Assist in daily cash posting, daily and monthly reports, account reconciliations, payment research, resolve invoice discrepancies, and perform collections.

Qualifications:

• Education: 2 year’s college preferred

. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years accounts receivables experience preferred

. Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong organizational skills.

Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
