Job Description :
We are seeking a LICENSED Clinical Social Worker for California Corrections. You will provide support to inmates incarcerated in the Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
**PLEASE do not apply for this position unless you have your LCSW and one year of work experience as a LCSW.**
- $80 hourly salary
- 12 month contract (Will extend)
- 40 hours weekly
- 8 hour shifts, 8a to 4p
- Mon - Fri only
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science. (Any applicant without a LCSW will be immediately disqualified.)
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school
- An objective and empathic understanding of individuals with mental, developmental, or physical disabilities
- Applicants for positions in this class are required to pass a drug-screening test.
- Minimum 12 months of continuous experience with individuals with mental illness in an inpatient setting is required.
