Our cashiers quickly learn to identify a wide variety of plants on sight, and coordinate with other departments to meet customers’ needs. If you are collaborative, quick, accurate, and calm under pressure, this might be a great fit. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers by ringing up their purchases in a professional and friendly manner.

• Assist customers to locate desired plant material and hard goods as needed, or locate appropriate staff to do so.

• Assist customers with plant and product questions or locate appropriate staff to answer technical questions.

• Help maintain Sky’s physical cleanliness and order.

• Work with other departments as needed.

• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Able to work well with customers and co-workers in a positive, professional manner.

• Able to stand, bend, and do repetitive tasks for long periods of time.

• Able to lift or move up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis.

• Available to work week-ends.

• Able to follow instructions; willing to learn.

• Responsible and reliable. Accurate.

• Cashier experience and/or familiarity with point of sale systems a plus. (Sky is willing to provide training.)

• General gardening knowledge and knowledge of our seasonal plant material and products a plus. (Sky is willing to provide training.)

Hourly Wage Range: $17-20
