Work you'll do

This is a mid-level development position working on an application that includes multiple NodeJS, Angular (7+) and Java based extensions. The position will require direct interaction with the proponent and experience with handling large volumes of e-mail and communication. Responsible for all facets of engineering and administering the mid-tier at client site. This includes architecting infrastructure, installing and configuring Application and Web Servers, Portals, and associated software products and operating system configuration in UNIX environments.

• Serve as the support developer for application requirements
• Develop server-side code for internal and external web applications
• Develop applications using NodeJS/Angular interacting with COTS Java services using Spring MVC pattern
• Maintain a high level of security and code re-usability
• Utilize knowledge of Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment using NodeJS, Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS or similar class server systems
• Demonstrate knowledge of UNIX administration skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of development experience
• 3+ years experience developing with Java and C#
• 3+ years experience in NodeJS and Front-end frameworks
• Experience in application server management using WebLogic, WebSphere, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS or similar enterprise mid-tier management tool
• Web-based development experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript libraries (jQuery, Knockout, AngularJS, etc)
• Strong database experience with Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL
• Source Control experience (SVN, Git)
• Experience with automating maintenance tasks in an IT Configuration Management, Deployment & Orchestration tool such as Ansible/Puppet/CHEF
• Experience with serer migration, PowerShell, and Bash
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  

Preferred:

• Active US Secret security clearance
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification
• Experience with Java, Spring, MVC
• Extensive experience with Agile SDLC and Atlassian product suite
• Background in a Web Application Server environment in a substantially large enterprise
• ElasticSearch stack installation/configuration
• Administration experience in any of the following technologies (Keycloak, JBOSS)
• Experience with the Hyland Alfresco software
