The Warehouse Team Member position is located in Shakopee, Minnesota. This position reports directly to the Fleet / Warehouse Manager to execute the projects in accordance with corporate policy. The ideal candidate will have basic Warehouse background, but willing to train the right candidate.

The Warehouse Team Member will work an 8 hour day shift, Monday thru Friday, with overtime on occasion.

Typical hours are 6:30 - 3:30.

• Organize stock and materials within the warehouse by properly storing goods in their designated location(s)
• Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and assist management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped or received (using field-clicks software and office calendar)
• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice / packing slip to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
• Monitor and report any missing, damaged, or lost inventory to management
• Properly pack or load material to be shipped out according to company standards to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition
• Organize and sort items on shelving, bins, racks, containers, etc. according to company standards
• Clearly label and identify all materials
• Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped
• Assist with any equipment maintenance as needed
• Operate forklift, skid-steer, and/or telehandler as needed
• Load & unload trucks and trailers quickly and safely
• Identify and process any return materials according to customer standards
• Always keep work areas clean and neat – remove all trash nightly
• Pick up and deliver materials as needed
• Follow all laws regarding material transport
• Assist in making sure that all vehicles and trailers are compliant with commercial vehicle regulations (preferred)
• Stage materials for the next work week and assist crews in loading / unloading wherever possible
• Make sure that all keys are removed from vehicles nightly and that all containers are secure prior to leaving
• Having a customer service mentality is mandatory

• 
  Qualificiations of Warehouse Team Member
• Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
• Experience using a skid-steer and telehandler (preferred)
• Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company programs (preferred)
• Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is (strongly preferred)
• Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory (preferred)
• Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
• Practicing safe lifting techniques is mandatory
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Practicing proper load securement is mandatory

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
