The Remote Scribe Company is looking for experienced medical professionals who have experience using various EMR/EHR in a clinical patient-provider environment to be remote virtual work-from-home medical scribes. This job requires the ability to work a range of 28-38 hrs per week; Monday through Friday, typically with 1 day off or a half day off, working typically a 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm shift

Our medical scribes, while working remotely/virtually from the safety of their own homes, are connected to their assigned provider live via the internet who could possibly be in an entirely different state. We issue the scribe a laptop and all the software and the provider has an iPad in their clinic patient room. The scribe/provider have two way conversation audibly thru the scribes laptop and the provider's iPad and they can share screens. The scribe enters relevant information into the EMR live from the patient-provider conversation.

Our scribes are matched to scribe for one provider thus allowing the scribe and provider to become an efficient team so to allow the scribe to provide the best quality dedicated scribe services to that one provider by really getting to know how that provider wants their documentation.

Pay for this position starts at $14 per hour.

Required Qualifications:

• Availability to work 28 to 38 hours per week; Monday through Friday, with typically 1 day off or a 1/2 day off, during normal business hours.
• Ability to work this 8 to 5pm or 9am to 6 pm shift without interruptions or breaks.
• At least 3 years of experience working closely with medical providers in a clinical in-patient room setting with strong knowledge of medical terminology, treatment plans, medications, diagnosis, charting, etc.
• 3+ years of EMR experience or other major EMR in a clinical setting.
• Ability to focus and work remotely from your home for the shift without interruptions as if you were in an actual clinical patient room scribing for a provider in the same room.
• Keyboard proficiency approximately 60 wpm minimum.
