Position Summary

Build your career - design a future at Karran USA. Karran is looking for a web developer and technology manager to join our business team, implementing and managing an array of technologies used for client communications, order processing, sales tracking, web development, marketing, and more.

As web developeryou are responsible for designing, coding, updating and modifying Karran’s website/digital applications, from layout to function and back-end integration, optimized for various specifications and devices. As developer you will create visually appealing pages and content that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

As technology manager you will be responsible for working with our order processing software, along with its third-party development team. You will also work with our online retail partners on EDI integration for order receipt and sales invoicing.

Location

This position is based at our corporate offices in Vincennes, Indiana.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related and five years’ work experience in web development, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer skills - Magento, SEO, back-end integration with CRM software

Essential Functions

Assist in creation and implementation of all digital projects, collaborating with marketing and IT departments.

Develop, optimize, and execute website application using Magento ecommerce platform.

Curate page layouts and web styling.

Develop and implement interactive web features such as form submission modules, file attachment fields, factoring in back-end integration.

Collaborate with creative team to execute brand consistency, end-user requirements and specifications across all web platforms.

Evaluate system performance while troubleshooting any front-end and back-end errors.

Focus on maintaining, improving, and resolving all technological issues in the company.

Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and advise the executive team on the impact on the business.

Communicate with employees and stakeholders to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.

Use stakeholders’ feedback to perform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.

Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
