Summer 2023 Internship Snapshot

• The Internship program is a full-time (40 hours) opportunity running from May 24th thru August 16th
• In addition to your projects and tasks, New Era Interns will experience:
  • Community Service Day

  • Professional Development (Learning Sessions, Resume Review, Career Pathing Sessions, Mock Interviews)
  • End of Internship Group Celebration (After you crush the internship, let’s celebrate)

The Opportunity at Hand

The Apparel Intern will be assisting the Design operations team with database management of logos for use on Apparel and Headwear. They will be an integral part of the team and will be leading this initiative throughout the duration of the program. They will be exposed to the inter workings of a design team.

Projects & Tasks

• Create a logo library that will be used for all Apparel projects. This will be using a template that headwear uses and will include all logos, wordmarks, etc for each team for every league.
• Work on revisions on graphic designs based on comments from the Leagues

What you will need to make an impact

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Ability to use software on Mac
• Basic Design and layout skills
• Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
• Meticulous attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
• Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
• Strong public speaking, group presentation, interpersonal and persuasion skills required
• Ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances by being flexible and execute accordingly
• Ability to innovate and enhance existing solutions
• Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence
