Job Description :
Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Under direct supervision, performs various tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as RF (Radio Frequency) Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
We ask that each intern be available to work the duration of the ten weeks (June to August) and commit to working a minimum of 40 hours per week. This program is geared toward technical college students, actively enrolled at a four-year accredited university, who will be rising into their senior year. However, strong juniors and/or underclassmen may be considered if they have declared their major and have completed qualified coursework.
Responsibilities:
- Understand electrical circuit design, testing and analysis.
- Solder efficiently.
- Understand RF communications and RF circuit design.
- Use Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Voltmeters, etc.
- US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- HS Diploma and some advanced level training.
- 3.0 and above GPA.
- Must be actively pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited university.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Must be local to the Albuquerque, NM area and able to commute on-site daily.
- Experience or knowledge working with RF systems.
- Previous experience through coursework or internships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft office.
- An ideal candidate would be a rising junior or senior.
