CBC/CTS is looking for Central Sterile Supply Technicians to provide support services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of processing.

CSS Technicians maintain all processing equipment, maintain an adequate inventory of sterile supplies, ensure all instruments are washed, cleaned, wrapped and sterilized properly in a timely manner, rotate and restock shelves daily. They run, monitor, and perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance of sterilizers and biological indicator records and report any discrepancies to Supervisor. They may act as circulators in assigned area, and assist in cleaning after processing. No experience necessary! We will train!
Multiple positions available, starting at $17.50 + step increases + annual wage adjustments + annual bonus! Pay range may increase based on related experience and/or education.

Shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Second Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Kettering location)
Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Kettering location)
Third Shift: Monday - Friday 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Dayton location)
Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
• Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
• Heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing, and is physically demanding.
• Color vision
• Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
• Good eye-hand coordination skills.
• Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sterile central supply and delivery environment, tissue bank, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred.
