Your local Norfolk, VA Walmart Neighborhood Market is hiring for a Staff Pharmacist!
**

What you'll do at Walmart Stores

• Assists in the management of patient medication therapy and/or service coordination

• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

• Maintains and tracks medication inventory

• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

• Obtains and successfully renews multiple state pharmacist permits/registrations/licenses and training as necessary, in the appropriate time-frame, to meet board of pharmacy regulations, payer requests or internal needs for the provision of services to our patients.

• Performs visual verification of prescriptions

• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

• Provides direction and guidance to pharmacy technicians

• Troubleshoots prescriptions

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in good standing in the state of practice.

• APhA immunization certificate and current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience working as a licensed pharmacist in a retail environment.
